The most fun you can have - with your hat on.
Pass the Hat
This game can be played with just one Unscripted Gear Hat. Our entire kick ball team played this game at a bar after a recent win and we had a blast.
The person with the hat writes something on the hat without letting the person sitting to their left read it.
The writer then puts the hat on the head of the person sitting to their left.
The person wearing the hat then has to let everybody else read the hat.
You can take it a step farther, like we did, and make the person wearing the hat get their picture taken. (We posted all our pictures on Facebook).
When everybody stops laughing, the person wearing the hat is allowed to take it off and read it.
It is then that persons turn to write on the hat and the person to his or her left has to wear it without knowing what it says.
Best played while enjoying some adult beverages. Gather your participants in a large circle. Request that each person turn to the participant on their right and place his or her hat onto that person's head. It is very important that the person wearing the hat remain in the dark about whose name is now written on his or her hat. All participants will see the names written onto everyone else's hats except their own. Select a person to start the game by asking the other players a "yes" or "no" question geared toward helping him or her figure out whose name is on their hat. As long as the questioner gets a "yes" response, he or she should continue to ask questions. Once she receives a "no" response, the next person in the circle gets a chance to ask questions about the person written on their hat. Continue going around the circle with participants asking "yes" or "no" questions until each participant correctly guesses the name on his or her hat.
What's My Name
Instruct each participant to take a hat and marker and secretly write down the name of any famous person--alive or dead.
