The most fun you can have - with your hat on.
Some fun Unscripted Lid party games!!

                           What's My Name? Game

Instruct each participant to take a hat and marker and secretly write down the name of any famous person--alive or dead.

Gather your participants in a large circle.

Request that each person turn to the participant on her right and place her hat onto that person's head. It is very important that the person wearing the hat remain in the dark about whose name is now written on his or her hat. All participants will see the names written onto everyone else's hats except their own.

Select a person to start the game by asking the other players a "yes" or "no" question geared toward helping him or her figure out whose name is on their hat. As long as the questioner gets a "yes" response, he or she should continue to ask questions. Once they receive a "no" response, the next person in the circle gets a chance to ask questions about the person written on their hat.

Continue going around the circle with participants asking "yes" or "no" questions until each participant correctly guesses the name on his or her hat.

This is a great game for breaking the ice at a cocktail party.  It is also a lot of fun!

The game can be modified in many ways.  One group of friends who all went to the same school decided to write down names of teachers at the school instead of famous people.

                   Pass The Hat Game

“Pass the Hat” can be played with just one Unscripted Lid.

The person with the hat writes or draws something on the hat and places it on the head of the person to the left without letting them read it.

As far as what to write on the hat, anything goes.  It can be funny, nasty, dirty or nice.  You don’t have to write anything, you can simply draw a picture with no words.  The only rule is having fun and make sure you know the person well enough to write a nasty comment!

Everybody, except the “Hatter” (the person wearing the Unscripted Lid) can now see what is on the hat.

The “Hatter” (person wearing the Unscripted Lid) must guess what is on the hat before he or she can take it off, erase it and write or draw on it before passing it to the new Hatter.

The Hatter is allowed to ask questions of everybody playing the game.  The Hatter is not allowed to ask consecutive questions to the same person.

You can take it a step farther, like we know some of you like to do, and make the Hatter get their picture taken.  It can be a lot of fun to see the pictures posted on Facebook the next day.

“Pass the Hat” is a simple and very fun game.  Great for a group of creative people.  We know of a kick ball team in Milwaukee that plays “Pass the Hat” after every game and they have a blast.

“Pass the Hat” is a great party game that will break the ice and get people talking and laughing.
